What is a kosha, and how do you choose yours?

The kosha is the stage where the bride sits and where most of the evening's photographs are taken. It sets the mood for the whole room, so it is usually the first thing we design.

Start with the venue

A hotel ballroom with a high ceiling can carry a tall backdrop and a full floral bank. A smaller hall or a home garden often looks better with a lower, wider stage and more light.

Choose one story

All-white and modern, warm beige and bronze, or heritage with carved wood and calligraphy. Picking one direction keeps the design clear and makes every other choice easier.

Plan the light with the flowers

Warm light changes how florals photograph. We plan the lighting and the flowers together so the stage looks as good on camera as it does in the room.
